Shall we ba able to act as applicant, if we are the education institution, registered as organisation of limited accountability?
The Programme management bodies (the JTS and the JMA) cannot give prior opinion regarding eligibility of applicants, partners and actions.
With regard to your question please note, that the eligibility of partners will be checked according to the documents indicated in section 2.2.2 of the Guidelines for Grant Applicants.
These documents should prove that the partners comply with eligibility criteria in the section 2.1.1.1 of the Guidelines:
• they have a non-profit character,
• or they have partly industrial or commercial character, but established for the specific purpose of meeting needs of the general interest, and:
– either financed, for the most part, by the state, or regional or local authorities, or other bodies governed by public law;
– or subject to management supervision by those bodies,
– or having an administrative, managerial or supervisory board, where more than half of the members are appointed by the state, regional or local authorities or by other bodies governed by public law;
– and for implementation of the activities of a non-commercial character.
• And other criteria.
According to their legal status, the limited liability companies are generally commercial profit-making companies. There is no sufficient information to decide whether they formally comply with the requirement of having “partly industrial or commercial character”; evidence of having “partly industrial or commercial character” has to be indicated in the organisation’s statute/articles of association.
