On behalf of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania acting as the Joint Managing Authority (hereinafter JMA) of the Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus Cross Border Cooperation Programme within the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument 2007-2013 (hereinafter - Programme), the Public entity Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme (hereinafter - JTS), launches the Call for Assessors to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to join the Programme’s Pool of External Assessors with adequate experience and knowledge in the areas of cross-border cooperation, regional development and sectoral fields supported by the Programme to be set up for actions’ (projects) quality assessment.
The assessors selected within the framework of this Call will be involved in the assessment process for the action (project) applications submitted under the Programme. The Pool of External Assessors will be set up for the period of 2010-2012 and can be regularly updated.
A Pool of External Assessors to carry the quality assessment of submitted action proposals for respective Call for Proposals and assistance to the Programme’s Project Selection Committee in preparing the decision will be selected. All experts that comply with the criteria set in the present Call will be included in the database, priority for contracting having those with the most expertise and knowledge in the chosen field.
Inclusion in the database does not automatically mean that the contract will be signed for expert services. The contracting of experts will be linked to the launch of Calls for Proposals and the number, complexity and topics of submitted applications and taking into consideration the availability of assessors in that given period.
The deadline for submission of applications in one original paper version is 15 March 2010 by mail, courier or delivered in person to the following address:
